3-5 yr old dancers study once a week, giving them an easy introduction to dance. The classes include technique "games" that give the children the skills needed for dance classes. This training also develops skills that will enhance your child's academic success.
5-7 year old dancers study on day a week, however it is recommended that the dancer take two classes each Monday. The first class develops the technique of dance, practicing both the basics of ballet, the creative thinking of modern dance and developing the joy of movement. The second class is a repertory class, in which the faculty and students create a dance to perform in the final performance July 26th at 3:00.
6-10 year old dancers are given the opportunity to advance rapidly through the study of dance three days a week. Attending classes three days a week increases not just the amount of experience the dancer receives, but increases the retention of skills from those experiences. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the final performance at the end of the workshop on July 26th at 3:00. Students will perform: a demo for the technique class, a full dance for the Repertory class and the students own full dances for the choreography class!
